The Pampas is located in South America below the Buenos Aires. The land is flat and fertile 300,000 square miles(700,000 square kilometers). It stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Andes Mountains. They gradually slope down from Northeast to Southwest. Most of the region appears to be mostly flat. The Pampas is basically found in Argentina and develops to Uruguay. The Argentinian Pampas is where the Gauchos reside. The common temperature is 18 degrees Celcius (66.4 Fahrenheit). In the summer the sun is high. Since the seasons are reversed on the other side of the equater the summer in Latin American is in December. The wind is usually always blowing and the climate. Trees are usually found only along watercourses. The height of the grass generally depends on the amount of rainfall. In the Pampas the soil is very fertile. Most of Argentina's population is located in the Pampas.
