The Llanos are wide grasslands located in Northern South America. The Llanos occupies western Venezuela and northeastern Columbia. These grasslands are in a range at 220,000 square miles (570,000 square km). The Llanos elevation rarely exceeds 1,000 feet. The annual precipitation is usually in between April and November and ranges from 45 inches. The daily average for temperature exceeds 75 Fahrenheit ( 24 Celsius). A good amount of the Llanos is a treeless savanna that's coated with swamp grass. Trees are found along the rivers and in the Andean Piedmont. Several of the animals nest in the gallery and eat grass. Among these said animals include deer and rabbits.
